Privacy Policy

• Everything you type into the wizard stays on your own device.
• We don't run a database, and there's nothing about you sitting on our servers.
• We can't see your answers, and we can't hand them to anyone else — because we never have them.

We don't collect names, addresses, dates of birth, Unique Taxpayer References, bank details, income figures, or anything else you enter about your tax affairs. We don't store completed or partial returns. We don't use analytics tools that track what you type, and we don't sell, rent, or share your information — there's nothing to share.

Your answers are held only in your browser, on your own device, for the length of your session. If you close the tab, clear your browser data, or switch devices, that information is gone — we don't have a copy, and we can't recover it for you. When you print or download your completed return, that file belongs to you alone.

If you create an account or make a payment, that's handled directly by our authentication and payment providers under their own privacy terms — we don't receive or store your card details, and we keep account data to the minimum needed to let you sign in.

We only use strictly necessary cookies or local storage needed to keep the wizard working during your session (for example, remembering which step you're on). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

If anything about how TaxesMate handles data ever changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
